Tennis Elbow

There are tendons which are bands of tough tissue that connect the muscles of lower arm to the bone. Tennis Elbow causes swelling of the tendons that causes pain in the elbow and arm.

What causes it?
Tennis elbow develops over time due to repetitive motions like swinging of arm, gripping of racket, usually while playing different sports which involve straining of the muscles that exerts pressure on the tendons.
Tennis elbow can result from:

Pain while:
Lifting something.
Gripping something.
Opening a door.
Raising hand or straightening wrist.
